SMITHFIELD – Johnston County is currently vaccinating those in Phase 1a which includes health care workers fighting COVID-19, long-term care staff and residents, and those working on the vaccine rollout. With each shipment received, we prioritize those remaining in Phase 1a that want to be vaccinated.
Like so many of you, we look forward to moving into the next phase. But for now, we ask for your patience as we work through the prioritizations. As we progress through Phase 1a recipients and get sufficient quantities of vaccine we will share with you our expected timeframe for Phase 1b and beyond.
