Officials announced tonight three new cases of COVID-19 were confirmed in Johnston County Monday, bringing the total number to 13. Officials did not disclose how many were being treated in the hospital or were recovering at home.
One death was reported last week in Johnston County from coronavirus. A patient in their mid-60’s with underlying medical conditions died on March 26th.
As of 11:00am today, North Carolina had 1,307 COVID-19 cases and 6 deaths. Statewide, 137 remain hospitalized.
The NC Department of Health and Human Services says 44% of the cases are individuals age 25-49; 25% percent between the ages 50-64; 19% age 65+; 11% age 18-24; and 1% age 0-17.
