Johnston County Schools Names School Nutrition Manager and Assistant of the Year

School Nutrition Manager of the Year Kisha Cunningham from Selma Middle.

Johnston County Public Schools recognized the School Nutrition Manager of the Year and the School Nutrition Assistant of the Year at the annual School Nutrition Banquet.

Kisha Cunningham of Selma Middle was named the School Nutrition Manager of the Year, and Juanita Jeeter of McGee’s Crossroads Elementary was named the School Nutrition Assistant of the Year.

“Ms. Cunningham works hard to keep her cafeteria running daily. She encourages teamwork, and she is always kind and helpful whenever she is needed, said JCPS Director of School Nutrition Dana Edwards.

School Nutrition Assistant of the Year Juanita Jeeter McGee’s Crossroads Elementary.

“Ms. Jeeter is a calm and focused person, and she is a leader among her peers. She brings out the best in everyone with her humble attitude, and she makes the cafeteria a loving place to be,” Edwards added.

Both Cunningham and Jeeter received multiple nominations from their peers. They were each also presented with a plaque during the banquet held at Smithfield-Selma High School on May 15.
