Johnston County Students Receive UMO Awards
MOUNT OLIVE – Two Johnston County students were recognized for their achievements at the University of Mount Olive’s Annual Awards Ceremony. Among those receiving awards were:

Deborah Stephenson of Smithfield received the BSN Student Nurse Community Service Award. Stephenson is a junior nursing: pre-licensure major. The award is given to a bachelor of science in nursing (BSN) student who exhibits exceptional commitment to community health.
The award acknowledges a dedicated nursing student who actively employs their burgeoning knowledge and skills to advance health and well-being within the community and serve as a pillar of leadership and advocacy.

Grayson Morgan of Princeton received the Marketing Student of the Year. Morgan is a senior business administration: marketing major.
The award is given to an outstanding marketing senior having a minimum of 92 semester hours and a GPA of 3.0 or better with a resume capturing leadership qualities, community contributions, and other interests.
The University of Mount Olive is a private institution rooted in the liberal arts tradition with defining Christian values. The University was founded by the Convention of Original Free Will Baptists.
