Nicole Bodrick, a supervisor in environmental services, has been named Johnston Health Ambassador of the Month.
During a recent presentation, CEO Chuck Elliott said coworkers describe Bodrick as a great teacher, mentor and role model who works with her heart. “She practices and preaches customer service, and checks in with patients and families to ensure they’re having a great experience,” he says.
Bodrick, who has a background in retail sales, started as a housekeeper in 2006. When the hospital entered its contract with Aramark in 2015, she was promoted to team leader and, soon afterward, to shift supervisor.
“My passion is helping people,” she says. “I love that there are so many opportunities here to be a blessing to others. And I like ensuring that the hospital environment is clean and safe.”
Bodrick also volunteers on hospital committees and was recently appointed to Johnston CORE, a newly organized employee engagement advisory council.
She lives in Four Oaks with her two children, Syncere, 12, and Alaiga, 6.
Through the ambassador program, Johnston Health recognizes employees who go above and beyond the call of duty. They deliver quality care, foster teamwork and offer excellent service.
In addition to a designated month-long parking space, Bodrick will receive eight hours of paid time off.
