Johnston County Commissioners approved the following appointments during their July 2020 meeting:
- Juvenile Crime Prevention Council – Serreda K. Jenkins of Selma; Tammi Kornegay of Clayton; James Purington of Clayton
- Voluntary Agricultural District Advisory Board – Ralph Stewart Jr. of Four Oaks
