Juvenile Linked To Break-In, Larceny

SMITHFIELD – A minor will face charges in juvenile court after allegedly being linked to a break-in. On March 13, a resident on Kay Drive, off S. Brightleaf Boulevard, discovered her apartment had been forcibly entered. The suspect stole Nike shoes and a Xbox gaming system.

On March 14, police cited a 13 year-old juvenile for felony breaking and entering and felony larceny. The juvenile was referred to juvenile court authorities. Some of the stolen property was recovered by Smithfield police investigators.
