Juveniles Charged In School Break-In

River-Dell-Elementary-School-File-Photo-FIFour juveniles are facing charges after they were caught breaking into a Johnston County School.  Around 5:00pm Saturday, a concerned citizen contacted the Johnston County Sheriff’s Office after seeing four children allegedly break into a mobile classroom at River Dell Elementary School on Buffalo Road.

Deputies responded and caught all four juveniles, ages 13 to 15 still at the scene.  Authorities said they youths had caused about $170 in damage to the mobile unit but no items were stolen.

The juveniles, two boys and two girls, will face breaking and entering charges in juvenile court, according to Tammy Amaon, Public Information Officer for the Johnston County Sheriff’s Office. Their names were not released because of their ages.
