Eagle Scout Marsden “Chase” Brock received his Eagle Scout during a ceremony held on August 27th at Kenly Missionary Baptist Church.
For his Eagle Scout project, Chase put together heavy-duty playground equipment at Grady Park. The equipment was donated by the Town of Kenly to assist Chase with his Eagle Scout project.
Chase is a member of the Order of the Arrow, the Honor Society of the Boy Scouts of America; and he currently holds the leadership position of Junior Assistant Scoutmaster for Troop 29 of Kenly.
Chase is a recent Class of 2017 graduate from North Johnston High School. He plans to attend Wayne Community College for Turf Grass Management.
He was also presented the Eagle Scout Good Citizenship Award from Eagle Scout Coordinator Lewis W. Rice III on September 4th on behalf of the Johnston County Marine Corps League Carry-On Detachment #1236.
Chase is the son of Frankie and Shannon Brock of Kenly.
