KENLY – The Johnston County Sheriff’s Office is investigating an early morning shooting. Authorities were called to a home on House Road around 12:55am Friday. They discovered 52 year-old Christopher Wayne Davis suffering from three gunshot wounds.
Davis was rushed to the hospital for treatment.
Investigators said they determined Davis was shot at his residence on Christmas Light Road, Kenly then driven to a friend’s home on House Road for help.
Detectives allege Davis was involved in a verbal dispute with a female at his residence. During the altercation, Davis is alleged to have picked up a brick and threatened to cause harm to the woman. That’s when the female reportedly shot Davis three times.
The woman left the scene and drove to the Johnston County Sheriff’s Office where she reported the incident and turned over the handgun used in the shooting.
Authorities said the incident remains under investigation and at last report no charges had been filed.
Davis remains hospitalized in stable condition.
He went from the FA to the FO part of the class real quick.
What does “FA” and “FO” mean?
Self-defense and it sounds like it was a legal shoot. I also respect that she drive herself right to the Sheriff’s office. Of course, I do not know all the details but you don’t go to hit someone with a brick.
Good for her. That will probably teach the idiot you don’t threaten people. If you do prepare to pay the price
