Police Chief Commends Sheriff’s Office, Highway Patrol For Support
KENLY – Kenly Police Chief James Ayers says the Kenly Police Department is once again offering round-the-clock police service for its citizens. The 24-hour police service resumed June 12.
Chief Ayers said the significant development was made possible through the dedicated efforts of Kenly town officials with unwavering support from Johnston County officials, Sheriff Steve Bizzell and his staff, as well as the State Highway Patrol.
“The Kenly Police Department’s aim is to enhance public safety and provide a higher level of security to the residents of Kenly,” Chief Ayers said.
“Recognizing the importance of a strong law enforcement presence in the community, the Kenly Police Department is committed to fostering positive relationships and addressing the evolving needs of its citizens,” Chief Ayers said.
“Sheriff Bizzell and his team, along with the Highway Patrol, have played a pivotal role in maintaining law and order in Kenly during the interim period. Their assistance and collaboration have been invaluable in ensuring the safety and well-being of the community,” Chief Ayers added.
