A Kenly police officer sustained minor injuries following an accident Thursday night.
The accident happened on South Church Street at Goldsboro Street. The officer received a shoulder injury but did not require transport to the hospital. No other injuries were reported.
The accident was investigated by the NC Highway Patrol. On Friday, a patrol spokesperson said the accident report had not been completed.
