Kenly Woman Arrested For Impaired Driving

A Kenly woman was arrested on impaired driving charges during a traffic stop Thursday morning.

Erin Elizabeth Linehan, 32, of the 1700 block of Richardson-Bass Road was arrested during a vehicle stop near her home around 2:00am.  A Johnston County sheriff’s deputy was on routine patrol in the area and spotted a car weaving on Richardson-Bass Road and pulled over the vehicle.

Linehan reportedly registered 0.11 on the Breathalyzer, which is above the legal limit of 0.08 in North Carolina. In addition to the DWI charge, she was also cited for driving on a revoked license. She was taken before a magistrate where her bail was set at $2,000.
