KS Bank Food Drive Collects 4,736 Items

On September 21st, KS Bank held its annual food drive to benefit local food banks in each market area.

A total of 4,736 nonperishable food items were collected along with $1,839 in donated funds.  Local charities who benefited from these donations include: Kenly Area Ministries (Kenly), Bethany Baptist Church Backpack Buddies (Selma), New Christian Food Pantry (Wilson), West Clayton Church of God (Clayton), WAGES – Meals On Wheels (Goldsboro), Stevens Chapel Backpack Buddies (Smithfield), Community of Hope Ministries (Garner), Pleasant Grove Church Food Pantry (Wendell), Four Oaks Methodist Church Backpack Buddies (Four Oaks), Hinnant Outreach Center (Micro).

KS Bank is a locally owned and operated community bank located in Johnston, Wilson, Wayne and eastern Wake counties.  The bank is a full service, traditional bank and established originally in 1924 in Kenly.
