SMITHFIELD – KS Bank has announced the promotion of James Boring to mortgage loan officer. In this new role, Boring will assist consumers in Johnston, Wake, and Wilson counties with their mortgage lending needs.
Boring has been with KS Bank since 2021 working as a mortgage loan processor. In his new role, he will work directly with mortgage lending clients. In addition, he will market the bank’s mortgage services to potential clients, realtors, and businesses.
Earl W. Worley, Jr., KS Bank President and Chief Executive Officer, shared, “James is well equipped to succeed in his new role. We are very excited to have him working with our mortgage clients and meeting their mortgage needs.”
Boring said, “I am looking forward to building relationships with the Clayton community and surrounding areas as I transition to this customer-facing role to help people with their mortgage needs – a major lifelong investment!”
Boring resides in West Smithfield with his wife, two kids, and 3 dogs. He studied at the Poole College of Management at N.C. State University. In his free time he enjoys spending time outside and going to N.C. State football and basketball games with his family.
