Smithfield native and Pro Golfer Neil Lancaster won the Carolina PGA Senior Sandhills Open Championship on July 19-20th at Pine Needles Lodge and Golf Club and Mid-Pines Inn and Golf Club.
Lancaster shot 66 on Day 1 and 67 on Day 2 for a total of 10 under par. He won by 5 shots.
In January, Lancaster won the PGA Winter Series Senior Stroke Play Championship in Port St. Lucie, Florida.
