Last Known Surveillance Images Of Missing Man Released

Benson Police have released surveillance camera images of a Florida man believed to be the last photos taken before the man went missing. Authorities are concerned about the safety of 22 year-old Christopher Thomas Cole reported who disappeared around 3:00am on Friday, November 25th.

Cole, who most recently had been doing electrical work in Minnesota, was traveling on I-40 with two of his friends to spend the Thanksgiving holiday weekend in Durham. His friends said Cole got off the interstate, drove to a residential area and near the intersection of Elm and Morgan Streets, put the car in park, jumped out and ran away. He hasn’t been seen since.

Police said he has not contacted family members, friends, or his employer.

The NC SBI is now assisting with the disappearance.

Cole is described as a 22 year-old white male, 6 foot 1, 230 pounds, with brown/blonde hair and blue eyes.  The photo was taken from a security camera the night he disappeared. It shows he was wearing a blue t-shirt, black pants, and a blue and white baseball cap.
