Local Evangelist Book Signing To Be Held In Kenly

louella-neal-bookA book signing will be held Tuesday for a local evangelist who recently completed a new book.

Louella Neal will be signing copies of her book God is Still Performing Miracles at the Kenly Public Library at 205 East Edgerton Street in Kenly from 5:00pm until 7:00pm.

Neal accepted Christ as her personal savior when she was a young girl. She was baptized in March 1969 at a revival held at Bethel Holiness Church in Kenly.

God called Evangelist Neal into ministry 10 years before she accepted her calling. On March 1, 1987, she preached her first sermon at Temple of Praise in Selma. Her first sermon was entitled Take the Limits Off God.

Neal said she has experienced many miracles in her life and has been inspired by God to share many of them in this book, God Is Still Performing Miracles.

Her hope is that unbelievers will believe and take God at his word. Jeremiah 29:13 says, “And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart.” As well, she hopes that believers will receive the word of God and be made stronger in God.

Neal says she loves the Lord and loves to share His word with people, to let them know that God is a man of His word. “He will do what he says.”

Neal was born in Williamsburg County, SC but has lived in North Carolina, for most of her life.

She is a 1964 graduate of Richard B. Harrison High School in Selma. She and her husband, Bishop James E. Neal are parents to five adult children. They also have 15 grandchildren.

Evangelist Neal has served in many roles in her church ministry such as Sunday School teacher, secretary, choir president, and home mission president. Serving in these roles has allowed her to work with many different types of people. As well, Evangelist Neal worked 14 years for GTE-Sylvania, 20 years in the insurance industry, and several years in the local school system. Currently, she is blessed to be an entrepreneur as the owner of her own local retail clothing store for men and women.
