KENLY – A maid at a Kenly hotel was arrested March 2 on felony charges. Krissy Ann Garcia, age 43, of E. Oak Street, Selma was charged with financial card theft and three counts of obtaining property by false pretense.
On February 13, a 27 year-old man staying at the Budget Inn in Kenly told authorities he thought he had misplaced his debit card. Later, he realized someone had made several unauthorized charges to his bank account. The suspect allegedly had access to his room.
Garcia was held on an $85,000 bond.
