SMITHFIELD – A 30 year-old man is facing several charges after police said he exposed himself to a woman near the Johnston County Courthouse in Downtown Smithfield.

Police Chief Pete Hedrick said while officers were taking a report from the victim near the courthouse, police received another call about the same person throwing trash into the Neuse River.
The man, identified as Perry Brooks Autry, was located on Market Street near the Neuse River.
Autry allegedly tried to spit on two officers and attempted to exposed himself to police at the scene.
While being searched, a pipe reportedly used for smoking drugs was located.
Chief Hedrick said Autry made statements that he did in fact expose himself to the 29 year-old victim at the courthouse.
Autry was charged with indecent exposure, littering, possession of drug paraphernalia, disorderly conduct, and malicious conduct for spitting at officers. An arrest report listed the 30 year-old man as homeless.
Why’d he try to show his junk to the police? They should have tazed him in the p p. Lol.
This world is going to the dogs. The dang animals that are walking around. ANIMAL!
A quick Google search shows that he is a frequent flyer in the orange jumpsuits.
Pull that disturbing behavior to the wrong person and one day he ain’t gonna have anything to expose
