A Four Oaks man is facing criminal charges after he allegedly provided moonshine to a 15 year-old neighbor who reportedly became intoxicated.
The incident happened in January. The juvenile’s father contacted authorities after his son returned home drunk after a visit to a neighbor’s home. The child was taken to the emergency room after allegedly passing out.
According to a Johnston County sheriff’s report, the juvenile had a blood alcohol level of 0.13, which is higher than the legal limit of 0.08 for impaired driving.
Travis Lloyd Johnson, 23, of the 1500 block of Elevation Road was arrested Tuesday and charged with contributing to the delinquency of a minor. He was released on a $500 bond.
