SELMA – An investigation into numerous car break-ins at a Selma-area garage has resulted in an arrest.
On September 10, the Johnston County Sheriff’s Office responded to Billy West Garage on Batten Farm Road. Authorities determined 11 vehicles had been entered and approximately $1,650 in property had been taken.
On October 22, authorities arrested a nearby resident, Charles William Baker, age 50, of Batten Farm Road, Selma on 11 felony counts of breaking and entering a motor vehicle.
At last report, none of the stolen property had been recovered.
