Man Arrested On Exploitation Charges After Suspicious Vehicle Call

ARCHER LODGE – A 25-year-old Raleigh man was arrested Nov. 16 after deputies responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle off Covered Bridge Road in the Archer Lodge community, the Johnston County Sheriff’s Office said.

Deputies located the vehicle on a residential side street and found it occupied by Armani Rajon Fields and a 14-year-old female juvenile. After interviewing those at the scene and speaking with the juvenile’s father, investigators charged Fields with three counts of third-degree sexual exploitation of a minor.

Authorities seized electronic devices, including cell phones and a computer, as part of the ongoing investigation.

Fields was transported to the Johnston County Detention Center, where he was held under a $250,000 secured bond.
