SMITHFIELD – Police have linked a 66 year-old man to two recent indecent exposure incidents at local businesses.
Charles Simmons is accused of exposing himself July 19 in the parking lot of the Baymont Inn motel, on S. Equity Drive, in the presence of several others.
Later that same day, Simmons alleged exposed his genitals while inside Joe’s Laundry Mat on E Market Street in Downtown Smithfield.
Simmons, whose address is listed as homeless, is charged with two counts of indecent exposure and one count of trespassing.
