SMITHFIELD – A convicted felon released from prison three weeks ago was rearrested this week. Travis Antonio Farrar, age 39, of Wildwood Lane, Smithfield is charged with indecent exposure.
A neighbor on Wildwood Lane called the Johnston County Sheriff’s Office around 7:38am Wednesday, Nov. 29th. The female victim said she walked outside her residence and reportedly saw Farrar masturbating in the front yard of a nearby home.
She claimed this was not the first time it has happened. Another person with her recorded the incident to have evidence that it occurred.
The victim told authorities a school bus was near the home at the time but was uncertain if anyone on the bus saw Farrar.
Farrar was released on a $1,000 bond pending a January 24, 2024 court appearance.
According to court records, Farrar has an extensive criminal history. He was released from state prison on November 6, 2023 after serving just over two years for multiple larcenies in Harnett County. Farrar also has prior convictions for assault on a public official, trespassing, breaking and entering, breaking and entering vehicles, shoplifting, and driving while impaired.
$1000 bond for “Freaky Farrar” to be released AGAIN?!! Where is the logic in that?
He just needs to move to CA where this behavior is welcomed and celebrated.
