HARNETT COUNTY – The Harnett County Sheriff’s Office is investigating an overnight shooting. A 911 call was placed at 10:50pm Wednesday reporting the incident on Crest Circle in the Spring Lake community.
Deputies arrived and found the victim seated in a white Honda Accord suffering from a gunshot wound.
EMS transported Devonte Lamar McNeill, age 29, to a local area hospital where he underwent emergency surgery. At last report McNeill was in stable condition.
Detectives are investigating the shooting.
