The Sampson County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a fatal shooting. Around 10:00pm Sunday, deputies responded to an address on Calvin Hobbs Road near Faison.
Officers found a man dead from an apparent gunshot wound.
Authorities said Monday the shooting still remains under investigation and the name of the victim was being withheld pending notification of his next of kin.
