A Middlesex man was hospitalized Wednesday after being struck by a vehicle. It happened on Falcon Run off Whitley Road in northern Johnston County.
The Johnston County Sheriff’s Office responded to the scene just after 3:00pm.
Authorities tell us the 41 year-old victim was driving on Falcon Run when his SUV was rammed by another vehicle. When he stepped outside his SUV the other vehicle struck him as he was standing next to the driver’s side door. The victim sustained internal injuries and was taken to the hospital.
Sheriff’s Captain Jeff Caldwell said the incident was domestic related. Detectives are investigating the incident.
