Man Indicted For Shooting Brother

A Johnston County man has been indicted for the January 19th shooting of his brother.

Glenn-Systrell-McFadgen-FIGlenn Systrell McFadgen, 21, of Clayton allegedly shot his brother, Jonathan Davis, 22, at a home they shared on Hidden Acres Drive, then took his mother’s car and fled from the scene.  Johnston County deputies responding to the shooting in the Red Hill community off Buffalo Road, spotted McFadgen near Selma but he failed to stop.  Following a short chase, McFadgen was arrested on South Sharpe Street in Selma.

Davis was rushed to the hospital and survived the shooting.

McFadgen was initially charged with attempted first degree murder. A Grand Jury this month indicted him for assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill inflicting serious injury.
