ARCHER LODGE – A 19 year-old man has been linked by investigators to a convenience store break-in.
On August 13 around 1:43am, someone broke into Archer Lodge Express, formerly C.E. Barnes Store, and stole two bottles of wine.
Following an investigation, sheriff’s detectives said they identified the suspect as Walter Carlos Powell of Clayton.
On October 15, Powell was charged with breaking and entering, larceny, and injury to property.
Powell was given a $20,000 secured bond.
