SELMA – A Johnston County man, with a lengthy criminal history, was arrested after he allegedly threatened to shoot a law enforcement officer. It happened December 19 around 12:18pm.
The Johnston County Sheriff’s Office was dispatched to a home in the 4400 block of Old Beulah Road for a domestic disturbance between Jason Lynn Rook and another family member, authorities said.
After arriving at the home, Rook reportedly refused to open the door and verbally threatened to shoot a deputy who had responded.
Rook was taken into custody and charged with communicating threats, a misdemeanor.
I feel, threatening to shoot a Police Officer should be a felony.
What a surprise…. not really. How many chances yall going to give the Rooks???? ALL OF THEM.
The rooks and hills are always getting arrested for something.
Not a surprise since we have a felon as president. Remember: he said he could kill someone in the middle of 5th Ave and get away with it. Then he got his supporters to beat and kill police on Jan 6th. No surprise at all.
Who was killed on January 6?
RG70 my friend, why are you so angry? You need a hug… Actually, you’re kind of right… We do have a criminal as a president but it isn’t Trump…. Trump isn’t President yet, so all of this is happening under BIDEN’s watch… I do agree with you though, Biden has been stealing from the American people for over 50 years….
