Report: Marijuana Stolen During Break-In

SMITHFIELD – A Princeton man is accused of stealing marijuana during a break-in.

Tristian Ray Tyndall, age 29, of Howell Road, Princeton was charged April 14 by the Johnston County Sheriff’s Office with felony breaking and entering and felony larceny.

Deputies allege Tyndall walked uninvited into a barn used as a “hangout” on Braswell Road in the Brogden community earlier that same day stealing marijuana valued a $20. There was no forced entry.

The marijuana was reportedly recovered and seized as evidence. The report did not indicate if the victim and suspect knew one another.

Tyndall was given a $15,000 secured bond at the Johnston County Detention Center.

  1. It’s principality at that point. Marijuana is heavily decriminalized at that small amount. Possession would most likely only carry a fine. Therefore, IMO, it would be worth it to turn him in and make him pay for the disrespect of being a thief. I HATE A DANG THIEF, NO MATTER WHAT THEY ARE STEALING !!!

  2. Well that’s funny and sad at the same time. Seems at least he didn’t steal someone’s already stolen car. Because then he would be considered a cops assistant with a good lawyer .
