Marine Group Honors Johnston County Business On Flag Day

Members from the Johnston County Marine Corps League Carry-On Detachment #1236 aka The JoCo Marines presented a Good Business Award on Thursday, which happened to be Flag Day, to G&G Builders, Inc. of Wendell.

They are 50 feet inside the Johnston County line which qualifies them for the award.

G&G Builders, Inc. is a commercial and residential builder, the company was started in 1975 when they concentrated on residential projects. They added commercial building projects to the mix over the years, and now concentrate on commercial building to include office and medical buildings, fire-departments, religious and community buildings.

It is a family owned business which is operated by the third generation. It was founded by Jimmy and Randy Greene, a father and son team, and is now operated by Amos Greene.

G&G Builders, Inc. stated that they fly the flag in honor of the struggle for Independence and it is lighted at night in remembrance of all who fought and died defending those stars and stripes.
