Clayton Mayor Jody McLeod and two members of the Clayton Town Council who won re-election on November 3rd received their new oaths of office Monday night in the Council Chambers.
Mayor McLeod received his Oath from District Court Judge Mary Wells.
Councilman R.S. “Butch” Lawter and Councilman Jason Thompson received their oaths for 4 year terms from Johnston County Clerk of Court Michelle Ball.
After the swearing in ceremony a brief reception was held for the newly elected officials.
