Blake McLean, a middle infielder for the North Johnston High baseball team, will continue his education and play next year for the University of Mount Olive (UMO). McLean plans to attend UMO and pursue a degree in agribusiness.
Blake has played varsity baseball for 4 years with the Panthers. Last season, he posted a .382 batting average with 9 RBI’s and 6 doubles, leading the 2-A EPC in runs scored, and finished the conference season in the top 3 with his batting average, slugging, on base percentage and stolen bases. Blake has also received All Conference Awards and was named to the NC All State Team.
