A traffic stop in Sampson County led to the arrests of two people on meth charges and a meth lab at a home near Salemburg.
On Thursday, Sampson County deputies stopped a vehicleon Bearskin Road. During a search of the car methamphetamine, meth precursors, marijuana, and drug paraphernalia were found. Both occupants, Dusty Mclamb and Cynthia McLamb of Plainview Highway were arrested and charged with possession of methamphetamine, methamphetamine precursors, possession of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Dusty McLamb was placed in the Sampson County Detention Center under a $50,000 secured bond. Cynthia McLamb was placed in the Sampson County Detention Center under a $105,000 secured bond.
Shortly afterwards, deputies discovered a meth lab at the home of Earl Wayne Mitchum, on Zoar Church Road in Salemburg. After a search warrant was obtained, methamphetamine manufacturing precursors, methamphetamine, and meth waste was located on the property. Evidence also indicated methamphetamine was being sold from the singlewide mobile home.
Mitchum was arrested and charged with possession with intent to sell and deliver methamphetamine, possession of precursor chemicals, and maintaining a dwelling for sale/manufacture of controlled substance. Mitchum was placed in the Sampson County Detention Center under a $ 305,000 secured bond. Darlon Kinlock was also located inside the residence and was charged with possession with intent to sell or deliver methamphetamine, possession of precursor chemicals, charges. Kinlock was also placed in the Sampson County Detention Center under a $305,000 secured bond.
While deputies were processing the scene, Amber Vinson of Ruth Vinson Road, Autryville arrived at the location and fled from officers. Vinson was caught and was arrested for possession of marijuana and several traffic offenses. Vinson was placed in the Sampson County Detention Center under a $4,000 secured bond.
Deputies also cited William Mitchum for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia when he arrived at the residence around 6 AM.
