The operator of a moped was rushed to the hospital following a collision Thursday afternoon between the moped and a car.
The collision occurred around 2:30pm at the intersection of Lassiter Road and King Mill Road outside of Four Oaks.
Johnston County EMS transported the injured moped operator to Wake Medical Center.
The Four Oaks Fire Department also responded to the scene.
