The operators of a moped and motorcycle were both injured when they collided Saturday afternoon.
The crash was reported on Highway 42 East of Clayton near Lynch Road.
The motorcyclist, who was from Wayne County, collided with the moped operator who was making a turn into a driveway.
The moped rider was seriously injured. He was rushed to Wake Medical Center.
The NC Highway Patrol is still investigating the crash and at last report an accident report had not been completed. Photos by John Payne
