Mother, Son Arrested On Drug Charges

A Johnston County mother and her son were both arrested on drug charges after deputies were called to their home Sunday morning for a domestic disturbance.

Linden-Mugshots-FIDeputies responded to the family disturbance on Sommerset Drive outside of Clayton, according to Sheriff’s Captain Jeff Caldwell.  After entering the home, and while investigating the disturbance, Captain Caldwell said officers located a marijuana plant growing in the son’s bedroom.  Marijuana and drug paraphernalia were also reportedly found in the home.

Linda Lou Linden, 57, was charged with possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.  Both offenses are misdemeanors. Bond was set at $300.

Her son, Peter Michael Linden, 18, was charged with felony manufacturing marijuana and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia.  Bail was set at $2,500.

The items were seized by deputies.
