A motorcycle driver died after wrecking his bike in this sharp curve on Benson Road outside Angier Saturday afternoon. The single vehicle crash happened around 3:00pm.
Highway Patrol investigators estimated the driver, William Benjamin Puglisi, 62, of Old Stage Road, Angier, was traveling at 80 mph at the time of the mishap Troopers said Puglisi ran off the roadway on the right shoulder, struck a ditch, and was ejected from his bike before colliding with a tree.
