A motorcyclist was killed in a single vehicle accident Tuesday night in Johnston County.
The collision was reported just after 10:00pm on Old Fairground Road near Zack’s Mill Road outside of Benson.
Troopers said Adolph William Baca, 49, of Angier crossed the centerline in a turn in the roadway, ran off the roadway to the left, struck a ditch bank and was ejected. Baca was pronounced dead at the scene. He lived just a couple of miles away from the accident scene.
The NC Highway Patrol is still investigating the incident.
