A motorcyclist was hospitalized with broken bones following a near head-on collision Saturday night on Barber Mill Road, just off Highway 42 West.
Clayton Police responded to the accident just after 9:00 pm.
Authorities said 23 year-old Kevin Medina of Clayton was operating a motorcycle which collided with a Ford Mustang driven by Steven Ellen, 55, also of Clayton. Witnesses said the car may have turned into the path of the motorcycle.
Medina was taken to Wake Medical Center. Ellen was treated at the scene but not transported to the hospital. Photos by JoCoFire.com
