A 62 year-old Johnston County man died in a motorcycle crash Sunday evening in Johnston County.
The accident was reported at 6:56pm on Lakewood Road off Highway 210 outside of Four Oaks.
According to the NC Highway Patrol, Edward Leon McClannan of Selma was traveling westbound on his 2001 Harley Davidson when he ran off the roadway to the right causing the motorcycle to overturn and land in a ditch. McClannan was ejected and died at the scene.
Troopers are still investigating the cause of the single vehicle accident.
