The Johnston County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a break-in reported on Monday near Princeton. A resident on Old Rock Quarry Road reported someone broke into a shed and stole valuable NASCAR memorabilia including a limited edition pink Dale Earnhardt die cast car.
The total value of the items taken was estimated at $1,750.
No arrests have been made but the case remains under investigation.
