SMITHFIELD – The Smith-Bryan Chapter, Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) will hold a Community Wreath Laying Ceremony on Saturday, March 29 in honor and recognition of National Vietnam War Veterans Day.
National Vietnam War Veterans Day is held annually on March 29 for Americans to honor and thank Vietnam veterans for their service and sacrifice.
The community ceremony will be held Saturday at 2:00pm at the Johnston County Courthouse in Downtown Smithfield.
A reception for Veterans will follow at the Masonic Lodge, located at 913 S. Brightleaf Boulevard, Smithfield.
