CLAYTON – Two cars collided at the intersection of NC 42 East and Buffalo Road, around 7:00am Friday, sending one driver to the hospital and closing lanes during rush hour traffic.

Air bags were deployed in both heavily damaged vehicles.
The driver of a red vehicle was evaluated at the scene by EMS while the driver of a gray car was transported to an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The intersection has been the scene of a number of recent accidents.
Two crashes in the same spot on the same day. Isn’t growth great? Might want to think about changing the brand new intersection.
You know, if everybody drove a Tesla, this wouldn’t happen.
Yea and they’d still be burning from catching on fire.
