NC Values Coalition Endorses District 13 Congressional Candidate

RALEIGH -NC Values Coalition launched its endorsements for the 2024 election, including an endorsement for Fred Von Canon running in North Carolina’s Congressional District 13.

“Fred Von Canon is an authentic conservative with an unwavering commitment to protecting families, growing the economy, securing our borders, restoring parental rights in education and healthcare decisions, and saving unborn babies from abortion violence. Fred will be a leader in Congress who won’t have to be convinced to do the right thing,” said NC Values Coalition Executive Director Tami Fitzgerald.

“Coming from a meager background, serving his country in the U.S. Navy, and building a successful corporation headquartered in the 13th Congressional District shows that Fred has the character, work ethic, business experience, common sense beliefs, and commitment to the values that made this country great and make him the best candidate in this race. We know he will stand strong in Congress representing North Carolina families and the district where he lives.”

NC Values’ main focus before early voting is competitive primary races and will continue to release endorsements during the 2024 election season including General Assembly, federal, statewide and school board races. NC Values does not endorse in every race.

  1. In 2010 Mr. Von Canon was charged with failing to file or pay income tax which is a misdemeanor according to court records.

Von Canon explained them by saying they stemmed from the 2016 sale of the Wake Forest-based software company he founded, Maverick Solutions.

He said he continued to be paid during the years that followed, and that left him with what he said was “a substantial tax liability.”

According to court records, the IRS in 2018 placed a lien of $184,365 and two years later the state filed one for $91,391 — for a total of $275,756.

    • 16th amendment should be completely repealed. So what?

I’m more concerned Mr. Von Canon thinks that abortion is merely a “state’s rights” issue now.

  2. What I hear from Von Canon is Bla, Bla Bla! He must think people are so stupid to fall for his crap that comes from his mouth. Oh yes, one more thing, its ok for him to break the law but he will make the choice on womans rights because he knows best.
