NCDOT Road Additions – December 2022

Johnston County Commissioners approved a request at their December 2022 meeting to add the following road to the State Maintained System:

  • E Goodwin Chase Lane – Goodwin Chase East Phase 2 – Wilders Township

  1. More roads that won’t be maintained. The NC DOT already has a 6-year backlog, and this will only make it worse. As usual, our JoCo commissioners have no idea how to manage things. Leave these roads in private hands and let the owners finance the maintenance by charging tolls. #StopSocialsim #LetPrivateOwnersBe

  2. they have to build more roads so they can build more subdivisions and bring more people into our over crowded county…
