A local dentist is giving back to the Smithfield community by providing a day of free dental treatment.
This Friday, May 4th, Johnston Family Dentistry will host their first annual Free Dentistry Day for all residents in Johnston County and surrounding counties including Wayne, Wake, Harnett, Sampson, Cumberland, Wilson and Nash.
Patients will be providing free treatment on a first come, first serve basis.
Individuals 18 and older can receive either a cleaning, filling or extraction. The service is for individuals without insurance or a primary dentist.
Doors will be open from 7:30am until 3:30pm Friday. Dr. Trevor Fraser said his goal is to serve at least 100 people.
“Johnston Family Dentistry goal is seeking to improve the Oral Health of Johnston County,” Dr. Fraser said. “I’m hoping that this event will be the start of continual community involvement of our practice.”
Johnston Family Dentistry is located at 606 Buffalo Road in Smithfield.
