Neuse Charter School’s FTC robotics team, NUSA, participated in the NC state championship tournament on Saturday, March 2rd.
The team finished 5th of 36 teams in the preliminary rounds. NUSA was part of the number 2 seeded alliance of four alliances in the finals. NUSA and the number 2 alliance were eliminated from the finals by the number three alliance.
NUSA is a robotics team that participates in the FTC level of FIRST Robotics, an international robotics organization.
NUSA team members are Joseph Evans, Ethan Green, Joseph Haberkorn, Crystal Hawkins, and Gabe Hawkins. The team is coached by Mike Ward and Angela Jenkins. Team engineering mentors are community volunteers Blair Maust and Jan Maust.
